Bija Kids Preschool Alternative Program is a yoga-inspired program designed for families
looking for an environment where children can play, explore, socialize and engage in a fun,
healthy and age appropriate way. Each daily session includes circle time, yoga,
unstructured play, art and learning projects,snack time, story time and more. The
classroom is run by three co-teachers who bring their unique skill sets to support and
nurture students. Class size is limited to 16 students.
Bija Kids is a green environment that uses eco-friendly cleaning supplies, provides organic
snacks, wood toys, recycled art materials, composts waste and thinks it's important for
children to be exposed to these ideas in addition to giving them a sound educational
foundation.
We believe that by starting from the philosophy that guides our yoga classes and camp
programs - that our job is to teach children valuable life skills through a framework of
awareness and fun - that our Preschool Alternative Program engages children and prepare
them for the next step in their lives.
