About My daughter calls herself a yogi. She asker for 'special' yoga clothes for Christmas, and wants to put her name on my mat. She even asked me if we could do yoga together in the mornings, while everyone else is asleep. She is 6. Her enthusiam is a testament to Bija's inspiring teachings. I see how this filters into my daughter's daily life. When she tells her brother 'just breathe' if he's having a moment; when she puts her hands on her belly before she falls asleep to feel her breath go all the way down; when she jumps so gracefully and poised over puddles. Lauren at Bija is doing a wonderful thing, inspiring our little ones with her teaching, introducing them to the wonders of yoga in such a way that the effects cannot but ripple into their daily lives. Mia, mom to Shyama age 6.
